BWECC CELEBRATES ITS 48^th GALA

 Honoring District 21’s: UFT. Rep. Judy Gerowitz, PS 90’s Madelene Taub Chan, Seth Low IS 96’s Barry Fein, Network Leader Iris Baum,

 Cecile Iocono is the Parent of the Year, and Assemblyman Bill and Mary Colton are BWECC’s Couple of the Year

 

The Bensonhurst West End Community Council (BWECC) will hold its 48^th Annual Dinner Dance on Wednesday Evening, November 19^h at the elegant El Caribe Country Club, 5945 Strickland Ave. Brooklyn.

 

BWECC will be honoring UFT District 21 Rep. Judy Gerowitz as its Educator of the Year.  The Principal of PS 90, Madelene Taub Chan is BWECC’S Woman of the Year.  Barry Fein, Principal of Seth Low IS 96 is BWECC’S Man of the Year, the 2008 Couple of the Year is Assemblyman William and Mary Colton, and The Vice President of D21’s Presidents Council Cecile Iocono will receive the “Cesaria Soccoa Parent of the Year Award”.  Cecile is the PA President of PS 216.  Iris D. Baum is the BWECC Network Leader of the Year.\

Entertainment will be provided again by Looney Tunez Productions, with popular D.J. Nico keeping the music flowing and the dance floor hopping. The Cocktail Hour starts at 5.30 PM, with presentations and dinner to follow
